Abstract:
The trends of axes of aeromagnetic anomalies in eastern China (east of Longitude 102°E) are shown in the map. They are used to describe the structural features, termed axial structures, which include three types: 1. huge linear type: E-W, S-N, NNE NE, and NW (NNW) trends; 2. curve type: a. arcuate structural system. b. wave structual system and c.epsilon type structural system; 3. cross type: a. lampda-type structural system, b. radial structural system, c.Y-type structual system, d. brush-type structural system, e. π-type structual system and f. grid-type structural system. Among them some are known, while other are unknown yet. This paper pays special attention to the relations between the structural features and the distribution of oil, coal and hot springs in eastern China.
