Abstract: A 1:200,000-scale regional geological survey has been carried out systematically in the Hui Autonomous Region of Ningxia. Through the survey a lot of data and fruitful research results have been obtained and there have been many new discoveries and major breakthroughs, thus raising the geological research of Ningxia to a higher level. On the basis of the above achievements, this paper presents an introduction to sedimentary environments, magmatic rocks, metamorphic rocks and geological structures.
