PERMIAN STRATA IN GYA’NYRMA,ZANDA,TIBET

摘要: 本文对姜叶玛二叠系实测剖面进行地层划分及时代讨论,证实二叠系在雅鲁藏布江一带广泛分布,否定该地区二叠纪灰岩块体“由北方远处推来的外来岩块或称飞来峰”的说法。

Abstract: This paper discusses the Permian strata and paleontologic section in Gya’n- yima,Zanda,Tibet.A stratigraphic division and age analysis have been made on this section,the Upper Permian Gya’nyima Formation（P₂j）and Lower Per- mian Xilanta（P₁~2x）established and the paleogeography analysed.Besides the authors also briefly discuss the geological significance of the Permian strata along the Yarlung Zangbo River and repudiate the view that the“Permian lime- stone blocks”along the Yarlung Zangbo River are“allochthons”or“klippen” thrust from the north over along distance.
