新疆几个重大地质构造问题

    SEVERAL MAJOR PROBLEMS ON TECTONICS IN XINJIANG

    • 摘要: 1987年完成的新疆1∶200万大地构造图及说明书,以黄汲清教授倡导的多旋回槽台学说为指导,在系统总结研究了30年来区调、科研及其它有关资料基础上,对构造单元、构造旋回进行了划分和论述。本文对其中的5个重大地质构造问题提出看法。

       

      Abstract: The 1:2,000,000 Tectonic Map of Xinjiang and its explanatory notes were completed in 1987 under the guidance of the theory of polycyclic geosyncline and platform advanced by Prof. Huang Jiqing. On the basis of a systematic summarization and study of the data obtained through more than 30 years of regional surveys and scientific researches and other relevant data, the tectonic units and cycles have been distinguished and discussed. In this paper the authors present their views on 5 out of the several major tectonic problems: (1) the nature of the Altay fold system and the assignment of the Ertix compression belt; (2) the Tianshan fold system; (3) the Beishan fault-fold belt; (4) the southern boundary of the Tarim platform and the western Kunlun fold system;(5) the relation of the Tarim platform with the North China and Yangtze platforms.
