Abstract:
In this paper, the authors report the geochemical prospecting results around the margins of the Zankan iron deposit and discussed the relationship between elements as well as their coupling with the regional geology. Studies reveal that the geochemical anomalies are obviously constrained by the Taaxi-Sekebulake fault, the lithology of Devonian strata and the igneous activities. According to the features of the geochemical anomalies, in combination with regional geology, the authors delineated four ore prospecting areas, i.e., the Zanger Pb-Ag-W prospective area, the Xinuo W-Sn polymetallic prospective area, the Gaijiake Cr-Ni-Cu prospecting area, and the Halishali Au polymetallic prospective area. The results point out the prospecting locations in the feature.
