Abstract:
The Kaerqueka copper polymetallic deposit is located in the western part of the East Kunlun Mountains metallogenic belt, characterized by porphyritic-skarn-hydrothermal series, with the main metallogenic elements being Cu, Mo, Pb, Zn and associated elements being Fe, Au, Ag, W, Sn. The LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb chronological study of porphyroid monzonitic granite shows that the porphyroid monzonitic granite zircon
206Pb/
238U age is 226.5±0.5Ma (
n=25, MSWD=1.05), which suggests that the porphyroid monzonitic granite was formed in Late Triassic, during the Indosinian magmatic activity.
