Abstract:
Early Early Cretaceous palynoflora such as Dicheiropollis and Cicatricosisporites were found in Qixinong Formation of Mugakangri group-complex along the central segment of the Bangong-Nujiang junction zone, Tibet, and this discovery proves that the upper sedimentary limit of Mugakangri group-complex at least lasted until early Early Cretaceous, provides true and reliable paleontological data for determining Mugakangri group-complex in the light of biological chronology, and supplies clues for further analysis of Mesozoic basin evolution of the Bangong-Nujiang junction zone.
