Abstract:
Compared with common data, geological data have such characteristics as multi-source, multi - quantity, multi – class and multivariate-Dovi, and multi - subject. In view of these own characteristics of geological data, more and more researchers are studying the problem as to how to store and manage the massive geological information and related information effectively. Taking the mineral resources potential assessment data as an example, the authors have completed the database construction of the national mineral resources potential evaluation data on the basis of Oracle10G and MapGIS K9 platform. Based on the original software, the unified management of mass geological data can improve the information level of geological data.
