Abstract:
Countries surrounding China are rich in natural resources; the reserves of oil, natural gas, Cu, Fe, Al and potash salt account for a relative larger proportion, and the output of U, Ni, Cr accounts for nearly 40% of the total output in the world. Nevertheless, geological work of these countries remains at a relatively low level, whereas in China, these resources are mainly met by import. Based on analyzing geopolitics relationship between China and surrounding countries, mining investment environment of these countries and other factors, the authors have reached the conclusion that the surrounding countries should be the first choice for the “going out” strategy. Some suggestions as to how to cooperate with these countries have also been put forward.
