Abstract:
According to the 1:200000 geochemical data of the Xinjiang-Gansu-Inner Mongolia border area, the copper geochemical anomalies are mainly related to the mafic-ultramafic rocks and the porphyry bodies, and the ore-forming elements are of Co-Zn-Cr-Ni-Cu combination; the tungsten geochemical anomalies are mainly related to the intermediate-acid rocks, and the ore-forming elements are of W-Sn-Bi combination. Most of the copper deposits and tungsten deposits in this area have the corresponding element anomalies, suggesting that the geochemical anomalies have important prospecting significance. The authors identified 4 copper geochemical provinces, 5 tungsten geochemical provinces, 15 copper regional anomalies and 17 tungsten regional anomalies, among which Shangmaya-Tongshan copper geochemical province, Huangshan-Wutongwozi-Hulubei copper geochemical anomaly belt, Tuwu-Chihu copper regional anomaly, Dahulishan copper geochemical province, Yingzuihongshan tungsten geochemical province, Gubaoquan-Liuyuan tungsten geochemical province and Yingzishan tungsten regional anomaly have important ore-prospecting significance.
