Abstract:
Quantitative hazard assessment is the key and difficulty in landslide risk assessment and is also the hot issue in the current international risk management study. The method of landslide hazard quantitative assessment is proposed based on multi-period three-dimensional DEM and landslide intensity in the southern part of Heifangtai terrace, where 32 typical landslides are extensively distributed. Via interpretation of multi-period three-dimensional terrain information and field survey, the multi-period landslide inventory map was compiled and on this basis, the landslide frequency was calculated. Landslide intensity was calculated by the product of landslide volume and velocity using GIS technology. Landslide hazard was defined as the result of the landslide frequency timing landslide intensity. In the mean time, the types, values and vulnerability in corresponding landslide intensity of the elements at risk were investigated and analyzed in Heifangtai. On such a basis, single landslide risk assessment was carried out, and the landslide risk zoning map of southern Heifangta was compiled.
