Abstract:
Nowadays, there are more and more need of deep ore-prospecting especially in those covered areas, however, traditional geochemical prospecting methods are not enough under these conditions. Therefore, new supplementary technical approaches are badly needed. A series of non-traditional geochemical prospecting methods such as selective extraction, biogeochemical survey, groundwater geochemical survey and underground gas survey have recovered to be favorable again. Supported by modern analytical technology, selective extraction is now becoming the focus of the frontier, and its efficiency in hidden ore-prospecting has been proved by trial research. For biogeochemical technology, much achievement has been made in terms of controlling condition and analysis test of element enriched in plants, which indicates a transforming from infant stage to more mature early stage. Besides, much work has been done using groundwater geochemical survey technology in mineral saturation and substance calculation, and in high-quality physical and chemical data acquired and mineral compound indicator of different deposit types. Meanwhile, data processing technology, heavy mineral geochemistry prospecting indicator and isotope geochemical tracing technology has also attracted much attention in recent years. Still, according to experimental test, although the application of these non-traditional geochemical prospecting methods is promising, there is a lot of further work to do.
