Abstract:
We choose two sections along longitude 80°and 83°east in the western Tibet plateau. Based on geological data and physical data as well as Bouguer gravity and air-borne magnetic anomaly, combined with information about some deep-seated geophysical data, geology-geophysical models for both sections have been achieved, and has conducted the gravity and magnetic man-machine forward modeling in the area. The purpose of this study is to formulate the models of underground geological bodies. According to the models, some interpretations and inferences of the crustal structure, deep features of fault zones and the deep-seated framework of the major tectonic units have been made from the places where the profile passes through.
