Abstract: The pre Sinian metamorphic series in the Micang Mountain area on the northern margin of the Yangtze Craton consist of the Houhe Group Complex, the Bajiaoshu Gneiss Complex and the Huodiya Group. The study shows that at least four stages of regional metamorphism and one stage of linear dynamic metamorphism are recognized.
