综合找矿方法在伟晶岩型锂矿勘查中的应用—以尼日利亚纳萨拉瓦Saka矿为例

    Application of comprehensive prospecting methods in the exploration of pegmatite type lithium deposits- Taking the Saka mine in Nasarawa, Nigeria as an example

    • 摘要: 【研究目的】常规找矿方法对于覆盖区伟晶岩型锂矿勘查评价有效性较差,寻找有效的找矿技术方法组合尤为重要。纳萨拉瓦Saka锂矿的发现是综合找矿方法在尼日利亚厚覆盖区寻找伟晶岩型锂矿的成功案例。【研究方法】研究运用“转石填图法”在矿区发现伟晶岩脉线索,辅以土壤地球化学剖面测量和激电中梯测量、音频大地电磁测深等方法进一步确定伟晶岩脉的形态与规模等,为钻探工程的有效验证提供依据。【研究结果】通过对矿区地质特征、地球化学、地球物理异常等多源信息综合研究,总结了矿区找矿标志,提出正地形、山包等地貌找矿标志;锂矿化与电气石化、钠长石化有关,钠长石化越强,通常锂矿化作用越强;视电阻率高阻异常,Li、Be、Nb、Rb等元素异常规模大、梯度明显的地段可作为寻找伟晶岩的重要标志,进而建立了矿区地质-地球化学-地球物理综合找矿模型,钻探验证深部发现厚大锂矿体。【结论】综合找矿方法的成功应用对区域找矿方向具有一定指示意义,为今后在尼日利亚寻找伟晶岩型锂矿具有重要的借鉴作用和推广意义。

       

      Abstract: Objective Conventional prospecting methods have poor effectiveness in evaluating the exploration of pegmatite type lithium deposits in coverage areas, and it is particularly important to find an effective combination of prospecting techniques and methods. The discovery of the Saka lithium mine in Nasarawa is a successful case of using comprehensive prospecting methods to search for pegmatite type lithium deposits in thick covered areas of Nigeria. Methods The study used the "rock transformation mapping method" to discover clues of pegmatite veins in mining areas, supplemented by soil geochemical profile measurement, induced polarization gradient measurement, audio magnetotelluric sounding and other methods to further determine the morphology and scale of pegmatite veins, providing a basis for effective verification of drilling engineering. Results Through comprehensive study of multi-source information such as geological characteristics, geochemistry, and geophysical anomalies in the mining area, the prospecting indicators of the mining area were summarized, and geomorphic prospecting indicators such as regular terrain and mountain ranges were proposed; Lithium mineralization is related to electrical and petrochemical processes, as well as sodium feldspar mineralization. The stronger the sodium feldspar mineralization, the stronger the lithium mineralization process; Areas with high apparent resistivity anomalies, large scale and distinct gradients of Li, Be, Nb, Rb and other elements can serve as important indicators for searching for pegmatites. A comprehensive geological geochemical geophysical exploration model for the mining area has been established, and drilling has verified the discovery of thick and large lithium ore bodies in deep areas. Conclusions The successful application of comprehensive prospecting methods has certain indicative significance for the direction of regional prospecting, and has important reference and promotion significance for the future search for pegmatite lithium deposits in Nigeria.
