At present, the industrialization of natural gas hydrate in China still faces five risks and challenges: resources, technology, environment, management and market, which are mainly reflected in the unbalanced investigation of Marine resources, and the overall investigation degree is still low. The key core technologies in the fields of development basic theory, reservoir reconstruction, sand control, drilling and completion, drilling fluid and gas-liquid separation have not yet been broken through; There are still bottlenecks in key technologies and standards such as environmental baseline survey, environmental assessment norms, seabed monitoring, and real-time environmental monitoring. Overlapping of mining rights, low level of market opening and insufficient economic support policy; The mining cost is too high, the production of trial production is low, and it is strongly impacted by renewable energy. It is suggested that natural gas hydrate should be considered in the overall consideration of national major strategies. Further strengthen the hydrate accumulation theory research and resource investigation and evaluation to consolidate the industrial resource base; Tackle key technologies, accelerate the construction of green economy development technology system; Strengthen the equipment system, accelerate the development of convenient and efficient suitable equipment; Stimulate the motivation of enterprises and guide the formation of a business model with the effective participation of all subjects; We will improve policy guarantees and smooth the channels for funding and policy support for industrial development.
