    Geological characteristics and genesis of the Cercana iron-copper-gold deposit in Peru

    • 摘要: 萨卡拉(Cercana)铁-铜-金矿床位于秘鲁南部古近纪斑岩型铜-钼矿床成矿带西缘。通过大量的野外地质调查、遥感、物探及室内工作认为,萨卡拉矿床与该地区典型斑岩型矿床存在一定的差异,且具有铁氧化物铜金(IOCG)矿床的某些特点。分析其深部找矿潜力,指出在进行矿产勘查时应考虑从IOCG型矿床的角度出发,对其进行深入的勘查,突破目前遇到的找矿工作困境。

       

      Abstract: The Cercana iron, copper and gold deposit is located on the western margin of the Paleogene porphyry copper molybdenum metallogenic belt in southern Peru. Through field geological investigation, geophysical prospecting, remote sensing and indoor work, the authors have detected that the Cercana iron, copper and gold deposit is somewhat different from the typical porphyry deposit and has some characteristics of iron oxide copper gold deposit (IOCG). The authors also analyzed the deep prospecting potential and pointed out that, in mineral exploration, researchers should consider the problem from the angle of IOCG deposit and make indepth exploration so as to overcome the difficulties currently encountered in ore prospecting.
